“Time” is a great American documentary film produced and directed by Garrett Bradley. It follows Sibil Fox Richardson, fighting for the release of her husband Rob, who is serving a 60-year prison sentence.
It is a deeply personal journey with the family, edited from over 100 hours of home-videos Sibil recorded over the 18 years her husband already has been in jail, and it questions the prison-industrial complex, which seems to be more often interested in keeping people imprisoned instead of helping them to find their way back into society.
The film won the U.S. Documentary Directing Award at the Sundance Film Festival this year and is now available on amazon Prime.
